The Department of Pathology aims at both theoretical and practical education to assure the quality, safety and efficiency of the lab tests performed which fulfills one of the basic skills of a laboratory technologist. 1. Haematology: Study of cause, diagnosis, treatment and prevention of diseases related to blood

2. Clinical Pathology: Diagnosis of diseases based on the laboratory analysis of body fluids

3. Histopathology: Study of Microscopic examination of biologic tissue to observe the appearance of cells and tissue in diseased stage

4. Cytopathology: Diagnostic techniques that examine cells from various body sites to determine the causes or the nature of disease
